I left my home state of Montana in 1980 to serve a stint in the United States Coast Guard, and after 28 years, retired to North Las Vegas, NV. While in the service I spent some years doing Search & Rescue and Law Enforcement. In the early 90’s I devoted wholly to maritime law enforcement, serving on Tactical Law Enforcement teams and eventually teaching entry level law enforcement skills and finally running the Coast Guard’s entry level Maritime Law Enforcement School out of Petaluma, CA.
My shooting past has focused primarily on pistol, carbine, and shotgun in law enforcement applications with a time spent shooting IPSC to gain movement skills with a handgun. In retirement I’m doing investigations for the Federal Investigative Service and shooting rifle with Sin City Precision.
