The Phoenix AZ match run by Matt was a very fun, well organized and challenging match. The match was a mix of paper and steel stages with a few twists along the way to keep shooters on their toes. Like just about all other matches they kicked things off with a cold bore shot from 300y. This would be one of the last prone supported shots for a while. Positional, unsupported shooting along with odd ball distances and support side shooting greatly increased the difficulty level of the next few stages. What match would be complete without a “know your limits” stage and a mover, and to finish things off was a “various distance steel” stage with targets ranging from 320-780 yards.
Unfortunately I was the only one out of SCP that could make it. Joe and Bill are were on injured reserve for a few more weeks. Everyone there was super friendly and I highly recommend making a trip to shoot this one.
