The 2013 Vegas Precision Rifle Challenge is all wrapped up! We had a great time out there and hope all of the shooters enjoyed the competition. The match ran for two days, and in that time we had the opportunity to catch up with good friends and make new ones. We experienced some unforeseen problems but did our best to adapt and keep things running as smoothly as possible.
We had two ranges going simultaneously at Desert Sportsman Rifle and Pistol Club. On range #3 we had the short course. Shots fired during the short course were anywhere from 50 yards to 407 yards and incorporated both paper and reactive steel targets. Shooters had to contend with different props including fences, simulated roof tops and barricades. On range #9 we had our steel course. Shots fired during the steel course were anywhere from 223 yards to 644 yards. We utilized reactive steel targets and incorporated a number of props into the course of fire. Tyler and Aron did a great job creating out of the box stages like “Da Hammer” and even used favorites from other matches.
The match was a lot of work, we are very grateful to everyone that supported the competition and helped us pull this off. The match sponsors were incredibly generous and we thank them for their consideration and support.
